Laney is the magic. She is so friendly, kind, knowledgeable about allergies. The food is fabulous, drinks are delicious. It was our anniversary breakfast and this was the perfect place. HIGHLY recommend Walt's Prime Rib Hash and the Eggs Benedict
All our food was fabulous from appetizers to steaks and sides! Our celiac daughter also loved it, and they did an amazing job of accommodating her special needs. They even had gluten free bread to start her meal! Justin was an amazing server who kept our food coming at just the perfect times and had us well supplied on drinks! His recommendations were also spot on. My family and I highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!
We absolutely loved this place! It’s tucked away just off the lobby in the Contemporary. The menu is on the smaller side but they had a lot of good options to choose from. The brioche bread was fantastic and the 15 layer chocolate cake was out of this world. The beef medallions were decent and the chicken dish was very tasty and well-presented.
Steakhouse 71 is in place of the old Wave Room and re-imagined a few years back at the Contemporary WDW resort. Not my exact favorite steakhouse on Disney property (try Yachtsman or Shula’s). However, on a very positive note: prime cuts here are the most affordable on property and the restaurant is entirely accessible. I would still recommend reservations; however, this is a great place for a casual steak at an awesome resort. Great service and a fun time! :)
Had lunch here and everything was excellent from the food to the service, it was truly a wonderful Disney experience. The only thing that could have been better was the waffle fries, not the greatest, actually very dry. In any case, we will definitely dine here again. Loved the retro decor!
This was a great experience for us! The food was amazing I got the fillet Mingon and Mac and cheese for a side! They were both so good! Also I got the red wine sauce for my steak and it was also amazing!! The service was great our waitress was very nice and even though she was very busy since it was packed. The atmosphere was pretty good the restaurant was very clean and nice it just was pretty loud in there. I would dress nicer to come here since it is one of the nicer restaurants at disney! Overall great experience I highly suggest if you want a steak or just some higher end food. Enjoy!!
I visited Steakhouse 71 on Friday April 4th 2025 and experienced the absolute best service I have ever been a part of in my life! Don't get me wrong the food was excellent but our waiter Gary from NY was over the top friendly to me & my daughter and made all the difference! We had some great conversation about our trip amongst other things as he continued waiting on multiple guests/tables. He completely went above and beyond for us!!! The Walt Disney company needs to do whatever it takes to keep this guy happy and hang onto him for life!!! I hope he receives the recognition he most definitely deserves!! Thank you Gary for making my day!!! P.S. The 15 layer chocolate cake is definitely a must!!!
Went in for lunch, 10/10 taste. Appetizers came out right away, entrees took 25 mins after that. we were seated 15 mins after our reservation time because the restaurant stated they were running behind. portions are small but everything always tastes great
